The Truth About Obama?
 Sen. Barack Obama could have launched a political career almost anywhere – such as HA, where he was raised, or NY where he went to college, or MA where he attended law school, but he chose Illinois – Chicago, to be precise. And so he had to expect politics to get uncomfortably personal. Cuz that’s how they do in the windy city.
Joe Novak, a former Chicago political operative of some renown, a made guy in the Cook County gang wars, and known to some as “Low Blow Joe,” has put up ObamaTruth.org a rather damaging array of videos and story links outlining Obama’s wife Michelle’s business dealings – from her $195K raise at the hospital she works for (which came, according to Novak, just after Baracks’s election to the most exclusive club in the world), to her seat on the board of Treehouse Foods. It’s all rather Hillary-esque, in a Tyson Foods sense, which makes it fair game when you consider how far one former First Lady with a law degree parlayed her proximity to power.
The Obamas reportedly also had a less-than above-board real estate relationship with an “indicted political bagman” named Tony Rezko.
Novak, a former Democrat, is self-described “independent conservative, leaning Republican,” and uncovered Mrs. Obama’s huge pay raise while doing research for this site, in conjunction with this organization.
The most damning piece in all this is that while Sen. Obama was preaching progressive politics about healthcare and workers’ rights, it seems Attorney Obama was up to her briefs in the very predatory behavior he was criticizing.
In any case, if true, it takes a considerable amount of the shine off Sen. Obama’s squeaky clean image. Aint it always the way…
